So many of you know I, along with my great friend Rachelle, spent countless hours sewing my dress for my cousin, Jen's, Christmas Party. I absolutely loved my dress. I bought the pattern from Vogue a few years ago. It said it was very easy on the package but it was anything from easy. Make sure you read all the instructions carefully before you start your project and remember sometimes your own way really is the most helpful. Here is a picture of my gown

Minnie Hat for our Trip
Here is the Minnie hat I made for Vanessa on our trip to Disneyland. It was a success. Here is where I found the pattern: http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/accessory/minnie-mouse-ears-stripe-hat-baby-adult-/11702

Last night after the tree lighting ceremony in Placerville we hit Matt’s house so Nessa could work on the drums. She was banging them out for sure

Last Minute Dinner
Tonight I had to come up with a last-minute dinner. Didn’t go grocery shopping for awhile and had to have dinner ready by 6. So, I opened up my cabinets and my fridge and 100% winged it with what we had (which wasn’t a lot). It is crazy because I’m a horrible cook and depend on recipes, but dinner turned out great it was really good, so I thought I would share my last-minute recipe.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked chicken
- 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup
- 4 oz can of mushrooms undrained
- 8 oz of bow tie pasta
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cups of Chardonnay
- basil, pepper and garlic salt to taste
Cook the chicken, add all the ingredients at one time, boil for 15 minutes until creamy. Serve with love
Let me know if you try this recipe and you like it or what changes you made.

Bayside's Trunk or Treat
laura.lange's photostream on Flickr.
Today we went to Bayside of Granite Bay's Trunk or Treat, and it sure was a treat. There were so many cars decorated to receive candy - Vanessa's bag is full. They had jump houses, a zipline, face painting, dancers. The best thing was they had a whole section for kids under 4 - activities just for them. So we go to do a cake walk, decorate a mini pumpkin, get Vanessa's face painted. We definitely enjoyed Trunk or Treat. Maybe next year we will decorate our own car :)
