In celebration of I Love Yarn day (yes there really is a day), I think I will buy some yarn and finally start making these booties for a pattern I bought on etsy. Now I like to crochet and all, but I really enjoy knitting the most and there aren't as many baby booties knitted patterns as there are crochet, but I finally found one that I would love to make. Here is the pattern. Once I make them, I plan to resell them myself.
Today the weather in Sacramento is overcast, not too cold. Perfect fall weather to make baby booties and drink my pumpkin spice latte. Gosh I love fall.

Urban Cow Half Marathon - year two!!
Now that I can finally type using my fingers (every inch of my body is sore), I wanted to update on my half marathon I did this weekend. I ran the Urban Cow half in Sacramento for the second time. And it is confirmed that it is my favorite half to race. There are is a band almost every two miles singing and hyping you up, and then people lining the whole race cheering you on and encouraging you to keep going the long, long distance. Well, I did it. Though my time wasn't as good as last year, I'm okay with that.
It was all worth it coming in to the finish line to see my husband and my daughter holding a sign up for me saying "Way to go mama" and that sweet little face waving to me as I crossed the line. Made me cry. There is no greater feeling than completing a race and having your family to support you.
If any one is ever interested in running this race (which I highly recommend to be your first), check out

Organizing
So, today was filled with cleaning out closets, garages, sheds, spaces, etc. etc. etc. After sweating all day from nearly 100 degree heat (thank you Sacramento), I thought about why is it that all day was spent organizing and decluttering and still there is a lot of work to do. I found a website called Organized Homes, which has a lot of great tips on organizing everything from mail, holiday decorations, to children's rooms, and even your sewing/craft room (I needed that one).
One of the articles posted was titled: The Clutter Within: What's Your Clutter Personality? Without little surprise, I found I was a perfectionist clutterer. That means that I don't want to declutter unless I can do it 100% right. Meaning I want all the tools needed to make it perfect, when really I should use any tool I have to do as much as I can.
Check out what your clutter personality is at Organized Homes.
