I was actually pretty proud of myself. Now I’m all about using Illustrator for everything.
Well then after I made the card, my brother out of nowhere offers me a brand new projector and somehow I got lucky in scoring a screen. All at the same time, so it turned into a backyard movie of Cat in the Hat.
I bought some cute little cups for the kids from www.seussland.com It was so beyond hot I made sure we had lots of lemonade on hand.
For an appetizer, I made my own pizza bread from Whats Cooking With Ruthie. It was super easy and only took minutes to make. Definitely will make it again.
Also made my first attempt to make macaroni salad. I got the recipe from allrecipes.com The kids were asking for more so it must have been made right.
It was really hot outside but we made it work by sitting around the kiddie pool. It was enough to make us really comfortable.
